Unpacking and Inspecting ERX Routers
WARNING: Three people are required to install the router in a rack: two to lift the
system into pos
ition and one to screw it to the rack.

uter Components and Accessories
After you remo
ve the equipment from the shipping containers:
Confirm the co
ntents of each container.
Inspect all ex
ternal surfaces and external connectors for visible signs of
damage.
Inspect all accessories shipped with ea ch unit.
Document any damage noted during your inspection.
Confirm that the router has the correct number and type of modules for
your ordered configuration.
If You Detect or Suspect Damage
If you detect or suspect dama ge to any equipment:
Contact the shipper responsible for delivery, and formally report the damage.
Contact your Juniper Networks sales representative or reseller.
