Installing Modules
3. With a Phillips screwdriver, loosen the captive screws that secure the bla nk filler
panel coverin
g the empty chassis slot, if present, and remove the filler panel.
4. Remove the SRP mod ule from its antistatic bag, being careful not to touch
module compon
ents, pins, leads, or solder connections.
5. Verify that the ejectors are in the open position, as shown in Figure 20.

6. Slide the module in to the chassis by placing it between the guides of the
selec
ted slot and pu shing the module until it stops.
The m odule stops sliding when t he ejectors make contact with the front
of th e
chassis.
CAUTION: If you meet strong resistance when attempting to seat the module using
the ejectors, remove it from the chassis and confirm that the slot is designed to hold
the mo
dule. Then verify, if applicable, that the module matches its corresponding
