CAUTION
The engine will NOT go to high
speed when a load is applied to
the welding output terminals.
The engine does go to high
speed when a load is applied to
the DC auxiliary power
receptacle. When the engine is
operating in the high RPM
condition, both welding output
and DC auxiliary are normal.
1. Check welding cables for loose
or faulty connections.

1. Check the idler control switch
and associated leads for
loose or faulty connections.
See the Wiring Diagram.
2. Check the CURRENT
SENSING PC BOARD.
Perform the Current Sense
Board Test. Replace if
necessary.
3. Perform the Idler Solenoid
Test. (PERKINS 10929
ONLY)
4. Check for loose or faulty
connections at the idler PC
board (PERKINS) ECU in
Kubota and Throttle Body
Controller GM 3.0 liter.
5. The idler PC board
(PERKINS) ECU in Kubota or
Throttle Body Controller -GM
3.0 liter may be faulty.
