Updating Firmware
You can update firmware for:

You can update firmware for the following server components:

Downloading CMC Firmware
Before beginning the firmware update, download the latest firmware version from support.dell.com, and
save it to your local system.
While updating VRTX Chassis firmware, it is recommended to update the firmware versions of the chassis
components in the following order:
1. Blade components firmware
2. CMC firmware
3. Chassis infrastructure firmware
4. Shared PERC8 firmware
5. Storage back plane firmware
6. HDD firmware

Viewing Currently Installed Firmware Versions
You can view the currently installed firmware versions using the CMC web interface or RACADM.
