Replacing a Custom Litho
If you received a custom, multi-colored litho in an aluminum holder,
you must install it with the litho facing toward the lamp (i.e., the flat
side of the holder against the spring), as shown in Figure 6-12.
Improper installation can damage the litho!

Replacing the Lamp
You will need: – 250 watt, GY9.5 base, M series metal halide lamp
only*
– Eye protection
– Protective gloves

Note
Use only the MSD250-2 lamp in your fixture, not the MSD
250. Technobeam fixtures are optimized for the MSD
250-2 lamp and will give reduced performance with
other lamps.
WARNINGS (1) This equipment is designed for use with an
M series, GY9.5 base, 250 watt (such as the
MSD 250-2) lamp only. Use of any other type
lamp may be hazardous and may void the
warranty.
(2) Change the lamp if it becomes damaged or
thermally deformed.
(3) Change shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens
if they have become visibly damaged to such
an extent that their effectiveness is
impaired, for example, by cracks or deep
scratches.
(4) Do not operate this equipment without
complete lamp enclosure in place or if
shields, lenses or ultraviolet screens are
damaged.
