You can use the following formats to specify the source and destination of a VPN:
■ a single IP address
■ a range of IP addresses
■ a subnet defined by an IP address and mask
By default, PATROL DashBoard discovers subnet type VPN tunnels. However, you
can create a host-based VPN tunnel manually by using the following procedure:
To Create a VPN

In the Network portion of the navigation tree, navigate to the VPN tunnels root,
which uses the following icon:
2 Right-click the VPN tunnels root and choose New => VPN.
The Virtual Private Network Creation screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 42:

3 In Available VPN, select the VPN that you want to create.
4 Click Create.
