■ Verify that the URL to access PATROL DashBoard is correct.
■ Verify that your browser does not use an HTTP proxy.
■ Try to use another browser on a workstation on your local network.

■ Delete all files in the Temporary Internet Files folder of your browser and
reconnect to PATROL DashBoard.
■ Close and then reopen your browser; delete the cache and reconnect to PATROL
DashBoard.
Date and Time Displays Incorrectly on
Windows
■ In the Windows Control Panel, double-click Date/Time. Click the Time zone tab,
and then clear the
Automatically adjust clock for daylight saving changes box. Restart
the PATROL DashBoard server.
■ Open the PATROL DashBoard Setup program and modify the time zone to display
the correct time.
Router Discovery Problem
When a router is manually added, PATROL DashBoard may display the message
SNMP agent doesn't respond. You must check the following items:
■ IP address and the host name of the router: Ping the network device, or connect to
the device via a Telnet session.
■ SNMP community: The default password is public; however, the majority of the
routers are configured with a different password.
■ access lists: Some routers can restrict access to their internal SNMP agent and to
designated hosts.
