You must configure the Diagnostics report correctly by selecting the check boxes for
Round Trip Time, Application Response Time, and DNS Response Time in the
Authorized Sources Indicators section (see step 3 on page 242 in “Configuring
Reports”).
An example of the Diagnostics report is shown in Figure 127:

For all the end-to-end metrics in threshold crossings (Round Trip Time and SAA
metrics), the diagnostics module analyzes to correlate these times with the unit
metrics of devices monitored by PATROL DashBoard.
According to the degree of relevance and reliability, the results are presented in
tables:
■ Round Trip Time presents the links to the Diagnostics report for network round-
trip times for which a correlation was found. The relevance of the correlation is
given in the Reliability column.
■ Application Response Time presents the links to the Diagnostics report for
application response times (resulting from the SAA data) for which a correlation
was found. The relevance of the correlation is given in the Reliability column.
■ DNS Response Time presents the links to the Diagnostics report for the DNS
response times (resulting from SAA data) for which a correlation was found. The
relevance of the correlation is given in the Reliability column.
