Device Configuration in the Navigation Tree
The Device Configuration portion of the navigation tree accesses the specific
information about the various types of devices that have been discovered. In the
PATROL DashBoard navigation pane, expand
Device Configuration to display the
subtree shown in Figure 45:

Setting Global Properties for an Object Type
You can assign the same characteristics to multiple devices by using the Global
Properties
feature. If you later find that you need to change some properties for one or
more objects for which you have assigned global properties, you can do so as
described in the section about managing that particular object type’s properties
elsewhere in this chapter.
