11 In the information box that indicates that the configuration has been saved, click
OK.
After the setup parameters are saved, you are returned to the installation status
window.
12 After the status window reports that the installation is 100% complete, click Next to
view the results window. (
Next does not appear until the installation is 100%
complete.)
13 In the results window, click View Log (optional) to review the details of the
installation and then
Exit to close the installation utility.
14 (Unix only) After you exit the installation utility, restart the PATROL DashBoard
server (see “Starting the PATROL DashBoard Server” on page 54).
Uninstalling PATROL DashBoard
You can use the installation utility in uninstall mode to uninstall PATROL
DashBoard. However, you do not need to uninstall your current PATROL DashBoard
to install the new version.
Before You Begin
■ Ensure that the PATROL DashBoard server is stopped. For instructions, see
“Stopping the PATROL DashBoard Server” on page 57.
To Uninstall in a Windows Environment

Navigate to the directory where your BMC Software products are installed (the
default location is
\Program Files\BMC Software).
2 Go to the Uninstall directory and double-click uninstall.exe.
WARNING
On Windows, you must close the Services window after stopping the PATROL
DashBoard service. If you leave the Services window open, the uninstallation of
PATROL DashBoard may deadlock.
