the local databases. The Corporate Edition module does not store statistics, but
forwards data to remote servers for you to review. Data processing is distributed and
optimized, and the aggregated information that is needed to perform calculations for
reports is forwarded during periods of light traffic on the network.
As shown in Figure 142, PATROL DashBoard servers A through D, monitoring zones
A through D, respectively, are combined under a PATROL DashBoard Corporate
Edition module:

PATROL DashBoard Corporate Edition uses a graphical interface very similar to
PATROL DashBoard modules. The
Network portion of the navigation tree
consolidates the individual
Network trees according to the user rights already defined
at the PATROL DashBoard module level.
NOTE
For a network protected by a firewall, PATROL DashBoard Corporate Edition
provides access to PATROL DashBoard modules located inside the protected
network. For this purpose, install the Corporate Edition module outside the firewall
to avoid the address translations when crossing the firewall, which can cause
incorrect notifications in PATROL DashBoard reports.
