Right-click a discovery entry to open the menu shown in Figure 19:

Properties accesses the parameters that were specified on the Discovery Creation
screen.
Move opens the Discovery Move screen, in which you can select discovered objects
under the Network root to move them to the appropriate domains.
Delete => Discovery deletes a discovery entry.
Delete => Devices deletes a device under a discovery entry.
Refresh refreshes the subtree of these entries.
Using Router Discovery
Router discovery starts from a particular router and looks for neighbor routers that
are connected to this router. Then, the discovered neighbor routers are examined
again in what is called a hop. PATROL DashBoard automatically continues to
discover the routers and all their components (for example, interfaces, DLCI Frame
Relay if the Frame Relay Add-On is present, VPs, and VCs) from the initial router,
over the number of levels (hops) that you specify, as shown in Figure 20 on page 69.
The typical depth for discovery is three hops. However, you can launch a discovery
from any of the discovered routers to discover even further into the network.
This type of discovery can discover a WAN backbone made of interconnected
routers.
