8 (Unix only) In the Provide the System Root Account Properties window, provide
the root logon ID and password and click
Next.
9 In the Review Selections and Install window, review the selections carefully to
make sure that they are correct.
■ If you want to change your selections, click Back and make those changes.
■ If the selections are correct, select Start Install.
A status window opens and displays current messages, current milestones, and
percent complete during the progress of the installation. This window remains
open during the setup portion of the process, but it may be obscured by the setup
windows described in the following steps.
10 Complete the Web Server Parameters window:
A Specify the following information:
■ Hostname: Specify the name or the IP address of this PATROL DashBoard
Corporate Edition module.
■ HTTP Port: Select the check box and specify the port to use for HTTP
communication (default is 8090).
■ HTTPS Port: Select the check box and specify the port to use for HTTPS
communication (default is 9443).
■ Keystore File Name: Specify the case-sensitive name of the keystore file
without any path (default is
keystore).
You can use the default keystore configuration for testing and demonstration
purposes, but the self-signed public certificate that is included in the default
configuration is valid for only 730 days (2 years). Within that time, you must
generate your public/private keypair, generate a certificate request and send
it to a certificate authority, and import the received certificate. For
instructions, see “Configuring HTTPS for Your Operational Environment” on
page 44.
■ Keystore Password: Enter the case-sensitive password for the specified
keystore file name (default is
dashboardkeypass).
B (optional, but recommended) To verify that the specified ports can be used for
PATROL DashBoard Corporate Edition module communications, click
Check if
Ports Are Available
.
If a selected port is unavailable, an error message is displayed. You can go back
and specify a different port.
