To Modify Individual PATROL ETE Response Timer Properties
1 In the Network portion of the navigation tree, right-click the PATROL ETE
Response Timer and choose
Properties.
The PETE Properties screen is displayed, as shown in Figure 97:

2 In Label, specify a new label to be displayed in the navigation tree.
3 In Notifications, specify the type, if any, of notifications that you want:
■ E-mail: Select the check box to send threshold-crossing e-mail notifications for
each device indicator.
■ SNMP: Select the check box to send threshold-crossing SNMP traps to the SNMP
managers.
■ Apply Notifications on This Object and All Sub Objects: Click this button to use
the same type of notifications for subordinate objects.
4 In Other Properties, modify the properties as appropriate:
■ Enable Polling: Select this check box to activate the collection of counters. Clear
the check box if you do not need reports on this device, do not need statistics on
this device, or if you want to hide this device. This property is propagated to the
device’s interfaces, DLCIs, VPs, VCs, and protocols.
■ Show Objects: Select this check box to display the object’s hidden objects in the
navigation tree.
■ Enable Discovery: Select this check box to enable rediscovery of this PATROL
ETE Response Timer.
