272 PATROL DashBoard User Guide
The default installation subdirectory is
■ PATROL DashBoard Corporate (Windows)
■ PATROL_DashBoard_Corporate (Unix)
If you are reinstalling on Windows, skip to step 10; if you are reinstalling on Unix,
proceed with step 9.
9 (Unix only) In the Provide the System Root Account Properties window, provide
the root logon ID and password and click
Next.
10 In the Review Selections and Install window, review the selections carefully to
ensure that they are correct.
■ If you want to change your selections, click Back and make those changes.
■ If the selections are correct, select Start Install.
A status window opens and displays current messages, current milestones, and
percent complete during the progress of the installation. This window remains
open during the setup portion of the process, but it may be obscured by the setup
windows.
11 Decide whether you want to use new settings (for the Web server and time zone,)
or retain the existing settings:
■ If you want to retain the existing setup parameters, click Saving with old values.
■ If you want to specify new setup parameters, follow the instructions for the
setup screens, starting with step 10 on page 269 and proceeding through step 13
on page 270, and then resume here with step 12.
12 In the information box that indicates that the configuration has been saved, click
OK.
After the setup parameters are saved, you are returned to the installation status
window.
13 After the status window reports that the installation is 100% complete, click Next to
view the results window. (
Next does not appear until the installation is 100%
complete.)
14 In the results window, click View Log (optional) to review the details of the
installation and then
Exit to close the installation utility.
15 (Unix only) After you exit the installation utility, restart the PATROL DashBoard
server (see “Starting the PATROL DashBoard Server” on page 54) and then launch
launch PATROL DashBoard Corporate Edition.
