3 Complete the Personal Information Form, and then click OK.
You are returned to the Registration Center. The information that you provide is
saved in PATROL DashBoard.
4 Click the appropriate button (Fax or Phone) for the method that you want to use to
register and obtain your activation key, and then follow the instructions that are
displayed.
If you register by fax, you will print the fax registration page, complete the form,
and then fax it to the BMC Software number given on the form. BMC Software
will process the request and send the activation key to you.
If you register by telephone, you will call the number provided on the phone
registration page and ask for the DashBoard Registration Service. The BMC
Software representative will ask for your registration information and will
generate the activation key.
At this point in the procedure, you will want to exit the Registration Center to wait
for your activation key.
5 After you receive your activation key from BMC Software, navigate back into the
Registration Center (see step 1 on page 58), enter the key in
Activation Key and click
Use DashBoard Activation Key.
This activation key remains in effect unless the IP address of your PATROL
DashBoard server changes.
