Parameters
<ipv6addr> - Specify the IPv6 address of the host.
times - (Optional) Specify the number of individual ICMP echo messages to be sent.
<value 1-255> - Specify the number of individual ICMP echo messages to be sent. A value of
0 will send an infinite ICMP echo messages. The maximum value is 255. The default is 0.
size - (Optional) Specify the size.
<value 1-6000> - Specify the size. A value of 1 to 6000 can be specified. The default is 100.
timeout - (Optional) Specify the time-out period while waiting for a response from the remote
device.
<value 1-99> - Specify the time-out period while waiting for a response from the remote
device. A value of 1 to 99 can be specified. The default is 1 second.
source_ip - Specifies the source IPv6 address of the ping packets. If specified, the IPv6 address
will be used as the packets’ source IPv6 address that ping send to remote host.
<ipv6addr> - Enter the source IPv6 addres used here.
Restrictions
None.
Example
To send ICMP echo message to 3FFE:2::D04D:7878:66D:E5BCfor 10 times:
