Front end noise. Loose or worn front wheel bearings.
Worn front shock absorbers.
Worn stabilizer link bushings.
Loose steering components (e.g. tie rods, steering
cylinder).
Worn control arm bushings.
Tire pressure low (4WD vehicles).
Worn tires (4WD vehicles).
Rear end noise. Worn or brinelled rear wheel bearings.
Worn rear shock absorbers.
Worn leaf spring bushings.
Clutch, driveshaft or transaxle problem (see Chapter 6
− Drive Train).
Excessive steering play. Loose or worn front wheel bearings.
Loose or worn steering linkage.
Worn tie rod ends.
Front wheel shimmy. Loose or worn front wheel bearings.
Tires out of round or uneven tire wear.
