IMPORTANT: When removing female output hub
from gear case, be careful to not damage the seal in
the gear case. The seal cannot be serviced sepa-
rately.
11.Turn the gear case over. Using a hammer and a suit-
able drift, carefully remove the female output hub and
bearing by driving it in toward the center of the gear
case. The bearing has a slight interference fit to the bore
of the gear case. Take care to not damage the oil seal
in the gear case during hub removal.

12.Place the cover plate on the workbench with the male
output hub facing up.
13.Using a screwdriver, remove the internal retaining
ring from the cover plate.
