Verifying the Installation of an RP, PRP, or DRP Card
This section describes how to verify and troubleshoot the installation of a route processor (RP) or
distributed route processor (DRP) card in the Cisco CRS 8-slot line card chassis. For more detailed
information on the RP card, see Cisco CRS Series Carrier Routing System 8-Slot Line Card Chassis
System Description.
This section describes how to verify that the card has been properly installed. Status indicators on the
RP front panel include:
• Alphanumeric LED display
• Status OK LED
• Active/Standby LED
