accordingtotheT1.403ANSIstandard,allowingequipmentconfiguredasnetworkequipmentto
disregardnetworkloopbackcommandsfromthefarenddevice.

ThiscommandsetstheT1/E1orT3/E3framingtype.Framingmustmatchbetweenthecircuit
providerandtheT1/E1orT3/E3interfacewiththecircuitproviderdeterminingwhichframing
typeisrequired.
FramingtypedefinesthetypeandformatofthetransmissionframeforT1orE1lines.T1lines
have
twoframeformats:SF(SuperFrame,D4,F12)andESF(ExtendedSF).E1lineshavethese
frameformats:CRC4(multiframe)andNOCRC4(doubleframe).
ForunchannelizedT3ports,theCbitframingformatisavailablewithM13asanoption.Forboth
channelizedandunchannelizedE3ports,theG751frame
formatisavailable.Also,thebypass
framingformatspecifiesthattheG.751framingformatwillbebypassed.
Note: Since remote loopback requests are available only when C-bit framing is invoked for a T3
port, the equipment command is useful only when framing is set to C-bit.
