6.1.7 Replacement of parts
The drive unit consists of many electronic parts such as semiconductor devices.
The following parts may deteriorate with age because of their structures or physical characteristics, leading to reduced
performance or fault of the drive unit. For preventive maintenance, the parts must be replaced periodically.
Use the life check function as a guidance of parts replacement.
 Estimated lifespan for when the yearly average surrounding air temperature is 40°C (without corrosive gas, flammable gas, oil mist, dust and dirt etc.)
 Output current: 80% of the drive unit rated current
(1) Cooling fan
The replacement interval of the cooling fan used for cooling the parts generating heat such as the main circuit semiconductor
is greatly affected by the surrounding air temperature. When unusual noise and/or vibration is noticed during inspection, the
cooling fan must be replaced immediately.
